The Waxing Diva Workshop Travis Powell, The Waxing Diva, presents a 2-day, hands-on workshop on Brazilian bikini waxes and body-scaping. This fun and informative class will teach you everything you need to know about body waxing technique and client care and give you an in-depth understanding of these increasingly popular services. Travis is a 13-year industry veteran. After working extensively in the field, he opened Salon Dewi in 2002. His most recent awards include the 2006-2007 Citysearch Editors’ Pick for Best Waxing in Seattle, and Seattle Magazine’s Best Manscaping of the Year for 2006. He has been featured in Lucky Magazine, The Seattle Times, and NWSource. Day One of The Waxing Diva Workshop focuses on waxing theory and the finer points of the Brazilian. Includes a video presentation, live demonstration and hands-on experience. Day Two focuses on full-body waxing, head to toe, with even more hands-on experience. Participants must be licensed aestheticians or enrolled in beauty school, and can sign up for one or both days. Course fees include the handbook/instructional DVD and certificate of completion. Travis’ waxing kits will be available for an additional fee.
