It contains everything you need to know about giving Brazilian waxes, including: background and preparation; the products you will use; health and safety concerns; illustrated, step-by-step instructions for giving Brazilians to both men and women; and post-Brazilian client care. The handbook and accompanying DVD will be your complete resource for giving sexy, spectacular Brazilians. The Brazilian bikini wax originated in Brazil back in the 1970s, came to the US in the 1980s, and has become increasingly popular over the last 20 years. All kinds of people are wild about their Brazilians, from corporate executives to edgy artists, to pregnant women getting ready for their close-ups. Everyone likes to keep it smooth. Now, giving a Brazilian may seem like a complicated and scary procedure, but I am here to teach you how to do it safely and easily. I’ve been working in the beauty industry since 1994. I started my career as a massage therapist, and then went back to school to become an aesthetician. I worked at several salons and spas in the Seattle area, where I began specializing in Brazilian bikini waxes. There was no class back then! I had to teach myself how to do them. I was the first man to do Brazilians in Seattle, and over time I became nationally known as The Waxing Diva. I opened Salon Dewi in 2002, and we expanded in 2005. Salon Dewi has consistently won awards for beauty services and body waxing, including Brazilians, and has been featured in a wide range of local and national publications, including Seattle Magazine, The Seattle Times, and Lucky Magazine.
